IT and HIPAA support for California home health agencies
Home health is where we do our deepest work. We built nine systems for one working California agency, seven of them running in production, and we bring the same security, Microsoft 365, automation and paperwork to other agencies.
The technology a home health office actually runs on
Each of these exists today in a California home health agency. Start with the one that costs your office the most time.
Security that fits field staff
Multi-factor sign-in, managed phones and laptops that can be wiped when lost, and secure remote access for clinicians who are never in the office. Cybersecurity
Microsoft 365 set up for PHI
Email, Teams and SharePoint configured for protected health information, with office staff and care staff each seeing only what they need. Read the case study
Caregiver credentials
Every credential for every caregiver in one picture, checked weekly, with a monthly federal exclusion screen alongside. Read the case study
Route sheets and payroll
Paper and photographed route sheets matched to the visits in the EMR, so payroll sees only the exceptions. Read the case study
Therapy vendor invoices
Every billed visit checked against a documented visit note before anything is paid. Read the case study
Phones that do not lose patients
A phone menu that routes callers by type, and voicemails that become tasks with a transcript. Read the case study
More than one rule book
A California agency answers to HIPAA, the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, and CDPH licensing under Title 22, with its own rules for aides, records and reporting. We design systems with all of them in view and keep the documents that show how. Your compliance officer and counsel decide what the rules require; we make sure the evidence is in front of them. Start with a read-only assessment
We look at your systems without changing anything, then give you a ranked roadmap and a fixed price in writing before any work starts. The report is yours even if you do not hire us. See the technology, security and AI assessment.
Built for a California home health agency
Every caregiver credential in one trustworthy picture
A weekly audit and a color-coded board replace three sources that disagreed, and a monthly federal exclusion screen runs alongside.
Audit every Monday, board always current, exclusion screen monthly.
Running in productionRead the case study Payroll and operationsRoute sheets to payroll, with exceptions caught before checks are cut
Paper and photographed route sheets are read, matched to EMR visits and filed, and payroll gets an exceptions-only list instead of a pile.
94.4% of handwritten rows read correctly by a small local model.
Running in productionRead the case study Finance and billingPay therapy invoices only for visits that are documented
Vendor invoices are matched to visit notes in the EMR automatically, and the office gets one report: ready to pay, wait, already paid, or needs a person.
Hand-ticked paper invoices became one weekly report.

Do you come on site?
Yes, anywhere in California, and elsewhere by arrangement. Most day-to-day support is remote, which is how field-heavy agencies work anyway.
Will you sign a Business Associate Agreement?
Yes. When our work touches PHI, we work under a BAA between your agency and Algorixtec, with the minimum necessary access. We also help you find and track the BAAs you need with your other vendors. See HIPAA compliance & BAA.
Do we have to replace our EMR or our Microsoft 365?
No. We build around the EMR and the Microsoft 365 you already have. Every system in our case studies works alongside the agency’s existing EMR and tenant.
Do you use AI on patient information?
Not in public AI tools, ever. Where AI touches PHI, it runs inside your Microsoft 365 tenant under your agreement, or on encrypted hardware you control, and a person confirms the result. Most of what we build uses no AI at all.
Can we see what you built before we talk?
Yes. The interactive demo walks through six of the systems with invented data, and the case studies describe all nine, including the two we built and deliberately left switched off.
